When our clients find themselves stranded throughout much of Alameda County, they can call our Repair Team for fast and free Wheelchair Rescue Services. Our Team will first attempt to solve the problem over the phone. If that doesn't work, we then dispatch a repair technician to either fix it on the spot. If additional repairs are required, provide them with a free ride home, as well as a loaner chair.
Free on the spot Assistance
In many cases, accidents that render a chair inoperable are a quick fix. Whether it be reattaching a lose joystick or wire, we first attempt repairs on the spot. To get you rolling again as quickly as possible.
Free Shop Repairs
In the event we are unable to fix your device on the spot. Your Repair Technician will take the device back to our Shop for additional comprehensive and complimentary repairs.
Free Loaner Chair
If we need to take your device back to our shop, we'll set you up with a free loaner chair for the interim. Clients also have the option to request their own free backup power chair, some parts may be required.

These are some of the most common issues our Repair Team encounters when we work on our Client's Mobility Equipment. Whether it's a minor adjustment on fixing a faulty electrical controller, we're here to help.
Chair Adjustments
A Chair that isn't correctly configured for it's user can cause serious bodily harm if not promptly resolved. We can ensure your mobility equipment is properly adjusted to meet your needs.
Battery Replacement
Power Chairs often rely on Sealed Lead Acid (SLA) Batteries to run. After 1-3 years of use they typically need to be replaced. Our team will identify the replacement battery and do to the work, you just need to purchase the battery.
Joystick Replacement
Even if the rest of your Power Chair is working, you can't control it if your joystick is damaged. We have plenty of donated Joysticks available, all you should have to do is pay for labor.
Keeping your Joystick DryController Troubleshooting
A Power Chairs Electrical Controller is essentially the brains of your equipment. It relays instructions from the controller to the relevant part. We can diagnose and resolve many controller related issues.
Controller Replacement
If your existing Controller cannot be fixed, we also have plenty of donated ones available for our clients. Once again, all you should have to pay for is labor.
Bald Tires
We have an extensive collection of replacement tires for when the ones on your power chair burn through all their tread or get damaged.
