Our Supporters

Our work is made possible by the continued support of everyone featured on this page. We rely on ongoing support from The City of Berkeley, The Alameda County Transportation Commission, and The Christopher and Dana Reeves Foundation to provide ongoing, affordable emergency care. Donations from the community empower us to do even more. Whether you've made a cash or wheelchair parts donation, this space is for everyone who supports our work. Thank you for making our emergency services available to you.

Pillars

Organizations that provide ongoing funding

Thanks to the ongoing support of these organizations, Easy Does It is able to continue providing free/subsidized care to the community it serves. Funding from these organizations empowers us to always provide quality care to those who need it. We are eternally thankful for their support.

The City of Berkeley

Thanks to Measure E funds provided by The City of Berkeley and voted for by Berkeley Residents. Easy Does It can provide Emergency Attendant Care, Attendant Matching and Private Accessible Transportation to Berkeley Seniors as well as People with Disabilities. Their continued support ensures that EDI's clients can easily afford the care they need or, in some cases, pay nothing at all for their care.

Alameda County Transportation Comission

Thanks to funds made generously made available by the Alameda County Transportation Commission. Easy Does It can provide most of Alameda County with Wheelchair Rescue Services. If a client lives in a City served by the program, they can call EDI for fast roadside assistance totally free of charge.

The Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation

Thanks to a generous Grant provided by the Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation. Easy Does It is able to offer Affordable Wheelchair Repair services in the City of Oakland. This grant ensures that we can charge just $15/hr for labor, and continue to provide donated parts to cut down on costs incurred by the client.
