What's on the Agenda

Unfortunately, this will be the first Community Meeting in a while that we have some bad news to discuss. As of October 1st, Easy Does It will no longer be offering Wheelchair Repair Services to Oakland Residents. We're interested in hearing the Community's thoughts on this decision and ideas to ensure the continued mobility of those affected. We're also going to begin exploring implementing improvements to our CRM and website to enhance operations.

  • We are no longer offering Repair Services to Oakland Residents, Wheelchair Rescue is still available free of charge in the city of Oakland. But we're no longer able to work on devices that aren't inoperable. We're hoping to hear feedback/ideas to accommodate those who are affected by this change.
  • Due to the fact the majority of our clients don't wish to mask on service calls, we're making wearing masks optional for our drivers so long as the client is comfortable with them not masking up. If clients want our drivers to wear a mask during their transportation calls, all they need to do is ask dispatch prior. We're seeking feedback on this change.
  • Our repair team is moving forward with distributing backup power chairs to clients that are willing to replace the chairs batteries. Due to the popularity of this effort, there's still much to be done to ensure everyone who's interested gets access to a backup chair.
