Easy Does It

Vital Services for Berkeley’s People With Disabilities and Seniors

Easy Does It just got FASTER!

We are excited to announce a new transportation and repair service covering North and Central Alameda County!

FASTER is Fast Accessible Safe Transportation and Emergency Repair.  The FASTER program was created in 2019 as a partnership with Alameda CTC.  Its goal is to broaden Easy Does It’s legendary transportation and repair service area to go beyond Berkeley, and serve cities in North and Central Alameda County.

If you use a mobility device and break down in the following cities, a FASTER driver/repair technician will pick you up at your location, provide minor, on location repairs, and/or drive you to a safe place.

This service is available from 9 AM to 9 PM seven days a week.  Please call our dedicated FASTER phone number at (510) 289-7155

The service area for FASTER includes the following cities:

  • Berkeley
  • Albany
  • Emeryville
  • Oakland
  • San Leandro
  • San Lorenzo
  • Alameda
  • Castro Valley
  • Hayward

FASTER service hours are 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM, 7 days per week.  All services are free of charge.  To use FASTER services, please call (510) 289-7155.  A driver/repair technician will respond by contacting the client within 10 minutes of their first call.  The driver/repair technician will obtain basic demographic information, as well as information on location and equipment breakdown.  The driver/repair technician will arrive at the client’s destination between 30 and 120 minutes, depending on location and traffic.  The driver/repair technician will attempt to repair the mobility device within 20-30 minutes.  If the device cannot be repaired in that time, the driver/repair technician will drive the client to a safe place of their choice.
